Great food and atmosphere, place is always clean and well run. Bartenders are great that always make you feel like home..hodden gem in Atlantic City..
Ignorant bartenders, atmosphere is kinda sketchy but it's open 24 hrs.
Off the beaten path sports bar. You have to walk through a seedy area, 2 long blocks from the boardwalk to get here. However, once you walk in, it is a decent modern sports bar. I just never understood why you have to deal with two people (a separate waitress) even when ordering food from the bar. The bartender seems to only deal with drink orders, but you have to get the waitress's attention when dealing with your food order. The fact they separate the two types of orders makes things unneccesarily complicated.
I would come here again when in the area for a quick drink to start my night, but not the type of place I would hang out all night.
Like I said, Ducktown is a decent no thrills, mellow sports bar and grill. Not overly friendly or welcoming place, but nothing terrible about the service either. They have an internet jukebox, but will randomly turn it off just to turn the volume up on the football game. I saw a group of people last Thurs night got disappointed and left the bar after they put money in the jukebox and then the bartender just shut it off in the middle of a song just to put the volume on for the football game. Kind of messed up. I rather hear music than NFL announcers myself.
Good food and ambiance... Pretty fast service
