Worked here briefly. Got this "rash" suddenly, not sure if it was from a patient or outside of work, but I went to the ER to get checked out while at work. Some "doctor" came in the room for a brief second just to ask me what I think it is and then wrote a prescription for what I said it possibly might be, which was a shot in the dark. Then he walked out. He seemed so dopey... and dumb. I paid for the prescription and left. Anyway, I received a bill for $137. FOR WHAT. For the dopey doctor that came in my room for 10 seconds? For the guy at the front desk who took down my address, etc.? Dumb. I should've just let the rash go away on its own and saved $137+$20 for prescription.
I'm here right now with my son who is 3 years old. We came up for a family trip. My son has broken out in some type of rash and patches. He keep jumping out of his sleep and has been complaining about his throat ( which I'm concern it may be feeling like it's closing to him. He has been complaining that it was hurting and he couldn't eat. I have been here over an hour. I have seen drug addicts go back and people wanting pain meds go back. No way in the world should a three years old be still waiting to be seen. They said there are no beds and nowhere to put him. Then how can you constantly be taking others back. At least they could have started the process of blood work. I pray to GOD I never have to need the service of this facility. I have one star for it being nearby.
I will say I have never been dispointed in this place. I have taken my child here a few times and same good results. I will admit their have been a few long wait times for me but it's not always going to be peaches and cream people can only do so much at once. But I was always lucky to have my child in and out . I think we just got lucky because it wasn't busy at those times.
This place is great. My grandmother was admitted after being in a horrible car crash that resulted in a life threatening breakage in her leg. The staff was very welcoming and the ICU nurses were very good. The surgeon she had was very nice to us and explained how dangerous the procedure would be. However, the surgery went amazing and she is up and walking! These doctors and nurses are amazing.
I took my son for an emergency visit and the first lady ( I think her name is Juana ) was very kind when i explained my situation. You see my son , a Marine, was taking the bus to go to his base in about four hours; so I explained that we didn't have that much time. As soon as she finish with the questions, the male nurse ( sorry don't remember his name) called my son right away. We wait like 10 minutes or so and they called him to fast track. The whole process took like an hour. Everyone from the first lady that we saw to the last doctor WERE AMAZING KIND AND PROFESSIONAL...They took care of my son and even we had time to eat something before we said Good bye to him again. SO BRAVO !!! AND THANK YOU FOR CARING...Sincerely Mrs. Oliva
