The phone park is closed now..only for kids now.
It was a lot of addicts there but now it's a beautiful place for kids! There's an playground & lots of things for little and big kids. You can even have an cook out there.
I was born and raise in Atlantic City. and I'm very familiar with Brown"s Park. I'm also proud the park was name after the first black killed in WWII from Atlantic City, NJ. What I would like to see is a picture of Mr Brown. It would be nice, There're plenty of pictures of Audie Murphy. Let Atlantic City do a research and find some pictures of Mr Brown and do a story on him , and place it in the Atlantic City Press. Let us do something positive about Brown's Park and change the image.
They did a great job with the children's playground area and the improvements that they made an excellent job
The City recently redid this park and it's outstanding! This used to be a drug infested shooting gallery and now it's a beautiful park full of state of the art equipment. It even had an adult work out area.
