I then contacted Charlie DelRoss who was obviously extremely busy as well with multiple phones ringing in the background as a result of the freezing temperatures in the area.
I would like to personally thank Charlie, Don, and Mike for completing the installation so quickly and eliminating the potential threat of property damage from bursting pipes. The installation looks tremendous.
update - now 24hr later, another company came and did the repair and Charlie here still won't answer or return my calls. Maybe he's just too busy? Or maybe he doesn't care about his customers.
After explaining my situation, Charlie understood the urgency and agreed to meet at the residence. He quoted a fair price for the installation which was immediately accepted. Then promptly filed for the necessary permits, arranged the equipment delivery, and coordinated a crew to replaced the boiler the same day.
I recently seached "plumbing contractors" online to replace an old inoperable hot water boiler located in Atlantic City. Some numbers I dialed immediately went to voicemail and a couple companies that did answer simply weren't interested.
Called @ 3:30pm explained my drains were (are) clogged. Was told 2 crews were and galloway and another at tropicana. Provided my address and was told that he would arrive immediately following the job at tropicana. Now 5 hours later and many attempted phone calls later no answer, left numerous messages. Would have been okay to schedule for the next day, but to leave me hanging with absolutely zero follow up or basic customer service is crazy in an area densely populated with plumbers. Who knows if their work is any good, I couldn't even get them to answer the phone.
