Decent casino/hotel in the marina part of AC. Been to the GN plenty and never had a bad time. Vick and Anthony's restaurant is pretty good too. I just prefer the Borgata, personally.
It's great when you win. LOL not really I love the place even when I lose. My host Gerri Lynn is the best.
I had a great time there. Rooms are very nice and the food is great with many of restaurants to choose from.
Golden Nugget is definitely not the biggest casino in Atlantic City but it's got a great atmosphere! I actually prefer the smaller layout - it's so easy to find your way around. They are one of the few casinos to offer Mississippi Stud Poker (usually $5, sometimes $10) and they are the only casino that lets you place a dealer tip bet on this game after you've seen your cards. There are a lot of dining options with great food (although the buffet is not worth paying for in my opinion - but a great choice if comp'd or discounted). Parking is almost always free and the slot selection is pretty good.
The buffet is pretty good on Friday evenings. You have a wide spread of fresh seafood. Crab legs, clams,mussels,and shrimp. The price is very reasonable.
