First let me say I am not related to the owner. My wife and I chose this place for our anniversary. The food was incredible and beyond compare. The staff was great, friendly and absolutely the best. Anyone that disagrees is just a snob. We will be back again and again. And we live 3 hours away.
We had the chef choice and very unusual food selection of food. I didn’t enjoy our meal because after eating the guacamole I had cramping and went to the bathroom 2x before our main course was served. My boyfriend didn’t have the guacamole and I know that did it. and we had to pack the main course This happened on Christmas Eve.
The food were all salty and won’t go back again.
The brunch is the absolute best value within 45 miles. Chefs know what they’re doing. Service a little spotty but the food more than makes up for it. Guacamole is excellent, as are the cocktails. The Chowder here (2nd place at the AC Seafood Fest [but should’ve won]) is bliss. Atmosphere and design is beautiful. A proper return to Atlantic City for Chef Jose Garces. A gem at Tropicana Atlantic City that deserves more than a try.
Didn't like the food. Nothing was as described on the menu. The jumbo lump crab cake was a flat pancake, no lump crab meat, pork belly is usually served crisp, it was like pork jelly. Also very expensive. I will never go back.
Fantastic place. Ended up going here because Cuba Libre was all booked up. What a treat it ended up being. We got the $75 tasting menu and it was amazing. Empanadas, ceviche, surf and turf (amazing) dessert and many other dishes. I loved the airy bright atmosphere. Def will be back. The complementary Brazilian cheese bread is amazing btw.
